BEN BRYDEN

Ben Bryden began his journey at Wilkinson & Company LLP as a co-op student through Carleton University.  With a couple of tax seasons under his belt, Ben began his transition to a full-time staff member in May 2007. After receiving his Bachelor of Commerce with High Honours from Carleton, Ben then earned his CPA, CA designation in 2009 with Wilkinson and was brought into the partnership January 1, 2023.

Since beginning his career, Ben has gravitated towards tax services. Whether it’s navigating complex legislation or developing innovative tax plans, Ben prides himself on being able to provide tangible results for his clients.  In 2013, Ben completed the Institute’s “In-Depth Tax Program” to further hone his abilities.  Ben has applied this knowledge to become a pillar of tax expertise at the firm, training his fellow staff and partners in new and upcoming tax legislation, and creating publications and presentations to advise clients and the public.  

“In our world, tax factors into every equation, and it can sometimes prove to be a challenge to navigate” says Ben. “That’s why I felt it was so important to expand my knowledge in this area – yes it can be the most challenging, but it can also be the most rewarding. Not just for me, but for our clients as well”.

When not perusing the Income Tax Act, Ben enjoys spending time with his family in Prince Edward County and the surrounding Quinte region.
